THINGS TO REMEMBER
- AFTER The dressing is to be removed after 48 hours or as directed by the doctor. The prescribed ointment must be applied for the duration specified. You may be prescribed antibiotic medication if multiple lesions have been removed and infection is anticipated. A broad spectrum sunscreen must be used regularly.
- SIDE EFFECTS Potential side effects include pain, bleeding, infection, post inflammatory hypo/hyper or depigmentation, scarring and keloid formation.
- NOT RECOMMENDED If You use a pacemaker or have keloidal tendency. You are prone to post-inflammatory pigmentation, in such cases the procedure can be done only if certain protocols are followed.
